Halcyon House is delighted to welcome Danielle Alvarez for a truly memorable Gourmet Food Weekend.

Danielle Alvarez, head chef of acclaimed Merivale restaurant Fred’s in Paddington, is renowned for her warm and welcoming cuisine, focusing on sustainable produce and cleaver combination of traditional and innovative cooking techniques. 2017 saw Danielle recognised for her culinary achievements with Fred’s taking out various awards including first place in Delicious Magazine’s Top 100 and Gourmet Traveller’s New Restaurant of the year.

This Gourmet Food Weekend offers a rare and special opportunity for guests to experience cooking brilliance up close, taste Danielle’s dishes in the serene setting of Cabarita Beach and learn take home skills to practise in their own kitchens. The weekend is complete when Danielle partners with the Paper Daisy team to deliver a showpiece dining experience sure to impress.
